Bringing Jackson Square to Palace Square - We're Heading to Russia

We are a week away from our inaugural performance in Russia.  The Dirty Dozen will be headlining the St. Petersburg Day Festival in front of the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia on Saturday, May 29th.  Very few international concerts have been held at this historic site, as we join the likes of Madonna, Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones ... not bad company, we'd say.

A bit of history for you, the Palace Square is the central city square of St. Petersburg and the former Russian Empire and was the home of many Russian Czars ... we'll be bringing the sweet sounds of New Orleans into the square for the first time for tens of thousands of Russian citizens.

We are honored, to say the least.

Suwanee Springfest and Georgia This Weekend

We're heading back to Live Oak to kick things off at the Suwanee Springfest tomorrow night before heading to Georgia for shows in Macon and Athens.  The show in Macon is being presented by the folks at 11th Hour at the Cox Capitol Theatre.  The band will wrap this weekend up with an evening at the Melting Point.  Come on out and join us for some great music ... don't be bashful ... come by and say "hey."

Throwback Photos To Celebrate "My Feet Can't Fail Me Now"

We've been reminiscing a lot lately surrounding the re-issue of our debut record and we've started "digging through the shoeboxes."  We've lost a lot of documents from the band's early history due to the flooding from Katrina, but all of the memories remain.  A few boxes made it through the storms and we've decided to share some of these shots with you over the course of the next few months.Take a look in our Pics section and relive the good times! To feel like you’re really there, pop in “My Feet Can’t Fail Me Now,” which you can get by just clicking the box above. We’re so pumped to make new memories with you all, starting March 6th in Georgia at the Downtown Mardi Gras Festival. See you all there!

Happy Anniversary! "My Feet Can't Fail Me Now" Release

We are thrilled to announce the release of our 25th anniversary edition of "My Feet Can't Fail Me Now" in Japan, thanks to our friends at Buffalo Records. For those of you who don't live in Japan, don't fret. Thanks to the fine folks at Floating World Records, "My Feet Can't Fail Me Now" will be released on March 1, 2010 in Europe and the UK, so save the date. We are very excited about this anniversary edition and can't wait to visit all of you very soon. For everybody else around the world, you can grab the album right here, right now... just look up in the box above and pick your poison.
